We offer rush processing services for most cases. Please contact us before requesting your assessment to make certain we can complete your service in time. Additional fees apply.

Does New Directions make sure my data is kept private?

Will you send the assessment report right to me when it’s done?

Yes, our evaluator will e-mail you your report after it is completed. You then have the option to send your report to the requesting authority or permit the evaluator permission to send it for you. Exceptions may apply in cases where there is an official court order.

Can I check whether my assessment will be accepted before I pay for it?

Yes. New Directions assessments are accepted by most state court systems and DMVs, including those in California. If you like, you can also call us or visit the "check my state" map on our home page. Finally, you can also contact the authority that ordered your assessment.

If my assessment isn’t accepted, can I receive a refund?

We do offer refunds in accordance with the refund policy laid out in our Terms of Service. Please go to our Terms of Service and read the refund policy carefully before making your request. When the requesting authority will not accept our assessment and you meet the conditions of our Terms of Service refund policy, we will refund your assessment fee (note: rush-processing fees are non-refundable). Refunds must be requested within 45 days of completing the assessment process.
