Are there references I can check before I decide to work with New Directions?

Of course. We’re happy to provide our references—just call us at 1-800-671-8589 to make a request.

Can I check whether my assessment will be accepted before I pay for it?

Yes. Feel free to call us or to contact the authority that ordered your assessment. New Directions assessments are accepted by most state court systems and DMVs, including those in California. You can also visit the "check my state" map on our home page.

What if my assessment isn’t accepted? Can I receive a refund?

Yes, we issue refunds in accordance with the policy laid out in our Terms of Service. Make sure you have read our refund policy under Terms of Service carefully before requesting a refund. When the authority that ordered you to complete an evaluation will not accept our assessment and you meet the conditions of our Terms of Service refund policy, we will refund your assessment fee (rush-processing fees are excluded from refunds). You must request a refund within 45 days of completing your assessment.

My deadline is in a couple of days. Can you complete my assessment by then?

We offer rush processing services for deadlines that are fewer than five working days away. Please contact us before requesting your evaluation to make certain we can complete your service in time for your deadline. Additional fees will apply.

Will I receive a copy of the assessment when it’s complete?

Your evaluator will e-mail you your report when it is complete. You then have the option to forward your report to the authority that requested it or permit your evaluator to forward it on your behalf. In cases where official court orders apply, there may be exceptions to who can send the assessment.

Does New Directions make sure my data is kept private?

Yes. The privacy and security of client information is a top priority for us.

To secure your information, we:
